It was the freakin’ weekend…now it is Monday.

We have just had a lovely, quiet weekend. On Saturday I awoke to a beautiful, bright sunny morning so I visited my local butcher to stock up for the week and did some housework. In the afternoon I started my next vintage cushion and before I knew it, it was finished. I think this one is my favourite of the two I have completed so far. Tell me what you think. I love, love, love the lilac pompom trim.

On Sunday, like Saturday, it was a beautiful morning so we took the car for a drive and (much to my partners delight) I finally relented to driving with the top down. I must admit it was both lovely and refreshing having the sun and wind coming into the car. Although I did feel like a douche.

Sunday, like Saturday, ended in awful rain. It was okay though I had the blanket on, cat cuddling and the fire roaring. Here is Pusskin mid lick/groom. I thought she looked rather amusing. Like ‘Hey you guuuuyyyss’ from the Goonies.
